This Wednesday, July 9, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema on South Lamar will be showing the open captioned movie "The Incredible Hulk" at 10:15 pm.
Director: Louis Leterrier
Rated: PG-13
Runtime: 114 min
Team up Iron Man and Batman against The Incredible Hulk and you'd end up with a whimpering mound of twisted steal and black rubber. Mild mannered Bruce Banner's alter-ego/monster/hero The Hulk can literally rip you a new one, and in this brand new tale of Hulk-lore, he will. Sure, Edward Norton looks like a nice enough guy (don't rent PRIMAL FEAR or AMERICAN HISTORY X if you like him that way!), but make him angry...let's just say you wouldn't like him when he's angry.
Don't expect lethargic arthouse parables about identity crisis and sins-of-the-father with this Hulk - just expect a smashing good time and a 26 minute long Hulk v Abomination action buffet!!!
Also, look for a Marvel-hopping cameo from Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr!
